Wildlife Wood-Burnings
|
Our wildlife wood-burnings are Butternut, with a wildlife artist's original
pen and ink drawing burned into the center. These boards, as with all of our
rounds, are fully dried and sanded on both sides and finished with a satin
lacquer finish. The wood-burned designs include a loon imprint, a deer imprint, or
a Minnesota design burned into a 9 inch round. We also have a smaller 7 inch
round loon imprint board. These originals have a small hole in the back for
hanging. They make a unique and beautiful Minnesota gift for people visiting
our state, and look great as a wall hanging or decoration in your home.

Taxidermy Panels
These are hand-crafted in Butternut with the bark on. They are sanded and
finished with the same moisture-resistant lacquer as our boards to bring out the
natural beauty of the grain. We make two different styles of panels, ovals
and rounds.
Oval:
|
The Butternut oval slabs are fully dried and sanded with a satin lacquer
finish. They are about 3/4 of an inch thick and may contain a tree's usual
assortment of knots and other unusual configurations. They come in sizes from 8" X
16" all the way up to 18" X 48." Actual sizes may vary from 1/2" from stated
length and 1" from width.

Round:

The butternut rounds, as with all our slabs, are fully dried and sanded on
both sides with a satin lacquer finish. They are about 3/4 of an inch thick,
and actual size may vary 1 inch. They are available in sizes from 7" round to
14" round.
